Tailored Indigenous Employment Solutions

ETO works with private sector corporations, the public sector, Job Networks, Australian apprenticeship centres and other employment related agencies to design and deliver effective employment strategies in order to increase job opportunities for Indigenous people and then retain them in jobs.

Companies with an interest in Indigenous employment must face a variety of challenges, issues and problems. Challenges such as:

  • You have trouble attracting Indigenous jobseekers,
  • Some Indigenous jobseekers fall short of the desired education and work experience levels,
  • Some Indigenous employees seem to be coping with greater personal, social and cultural pressures than most of their peers, and are at greater risk of failing to complete their accredited training program or retaining their employment, and/or:

We provide strategy development recruitment coaching and mentoring services including operating the only currently accredited mentoring for retention program in Australia. This program has been very effective in improving retention outcomes with Indigenous Australian jobseekers however it is useful for all jobseekers requiring specific retention support.
